Honorable Mayor of Tinian & Aguiguan Edwin P. Aldan
2019 - Present
The Honorable Mayor Edwin P. Aldan is the 14th Mayor for the island of Tinian and Aguiguan, succeeding Mayor Joey P. San Nicolas in 2019.
Prior to his term as the next Mayor for the islands, he served as the House of Representatives in the 15th, 16th, 19th, and 20th Northern Marianas Commonwealth Legislature. Before that, he also served as a member of the 8th and 9th Tinian Municipal Council, and a Police Officer for nearly eighteen (18) years.
Born on March 29, 1970, Mayor Aldan spent most of his life on Tinian. He is married to Rosita King-Aldan, and a proud father to Anfernee K. Aldan. The Mayor spends his days serving the people of Tinian to the best of his ability and when he is able to find some spare time, he spends it with family.
"Although I am Mayor, I can't do this alone. It will take all of us, everyone who lives on this island to give the best of ourselves. I will only make one promise to you today. I will give you the best I have to give and to give you the opportunity to offer the best that you have to give to our community", said Mayor Edwin Aldan during his inaugural speech.
